OUR PASTORS AND STAFF

Since 2014, Sean has been the Director of Music and Worship at First United Methodist Church of Arlington where he oversees all the music ministries of the church which includes choirs for children, youth, college students, and adults. The music ministry also has opportunities for instrumentalists of all ages in the orchestra as well as the handbell choir. Under Sean’s leadership, the Chancel Choir at FUMC Arlington has presented Part 1 and much of Part 2 of Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Mass in Time of War and Lord Nelson Mass, Mendelssohn’s Christus and O Head So Bruised and Wounded, Vivaldi’s Gloria and Magnificat, Mozart’s Requiem, Trotta’s Seven Last Words, Schubert’s Magnificat, Rutter’s Requiem as well as many other choral/orchestral works. Sean loves the opportunity to work with an incredible music staff at First UMC. With an amazing network of talented musicians, Sean enjoys creating worshipful musical experiences with long-lasting impacts. 

In addition to his work at First UMC, Sean co-founded Awaken Ensemble with his wife Mary. Sean received a master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s in Music Education from Sam Houston State University.
