LOVE IN ACTION: HOMELESS INITIATIVE
Mission work is full of unknowns. We step out in faith, not always knowing where resources will come from, how lives will be changed, or what challenges lie ahead. Whether we feed the hungry, empower children and teachers, or share Christ's love daily, we trust that God is already at work.
John Wesley believed that "the world is my parish," reminding us that ministry isn't confined to church walls. Every act of kindness--offering a meal, donating needed items, or listening to someone's story--is an opportunity for God's grace to move.
As our church enters a season of transition, there are unknowns. It won't be the first or the last of our lives. So as we serve, may we embrace the unknowns with faith, knowing the Spirit leads us. The work may seem uncertain, but God's love is sure. Let's discern together, be bold in our faith, and go where the wind of the Spirit blows!
Cloud Covered Streets
Cloud Covered Streets offers showers, haircuts, laundry services, a meal, and more to those experiencing homelessness. We've partnered with Cloud Covered Streets since 2023 as part of our strategic initiative to connect with existing entities and provide intentional, coordinated support to unsheltered people.
