ADULTS

Our church offers a vibrant and diverse set of opportunities to bring people together, no matter what stage of life you're in. Questions are encouraged and we seek answers together. New small groups, Bible studies and outreach opportunities are continually offered.

Find out more about our current groups and classes, and how to get involved at the links below!

If you would like more information about any of our studies, classes, etc., please contact

or

Sunday School

Each Sunday morning we offer over 20 Sunday school classes for adults. Classes are offered at 10:00 am.

Class teaching styles vary with some following formal curriculum, while others use various books on theological topics or have a variety of visiting speakers on current faith-based topics.

Children's Sunday school also meet at 10 am and the nursery is open for Infants - Pre-K.

Small Group Communities

Small Group Communities are established within our congregation to support each other on our spiritual journeys.

Participation in one of these communities helps members develop relationships within the community and church as well as with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit. Communities meet on a regular basis.

Participants pray together and share their experiences of faith through daily devotions or other faith based reading.

For more information on joining or starting a small group community, please contact Rev. Kay Lancaster.

Studies

At any given time, we have a number of active ongoing and seasonal studies.

Some follow curriculum and some are direct Bible studies.

These are a great way to supplement what we learn in worship, and are led by both clergy and congregation members.

Studies meet at a variety of times and dates throughout the week.

Advocates for Social Justice

Advocates for Social Justice meet on the second Sunday of each month at 12:00 PM. All are welcome!

Contact Rev. Madison Boboltz for more information.

Advocates for Social Justice is a faith-based group committed to mobilizing and energizing people to be agents of God’s love, justice, peace, and reconciliation.  While we recognize differences of opinion among us, we will honor and seek viewpoints utilizing “Holy Conferencing,” as described in the United Methodist Church, to build communication and awareness for social justice issues.

We are committed to providing information and facilitating action through forums on current social justice topics such as, but not limited to, Reconciling Ministries, Immigration Reform, Capital Punishment, Poverty in Tarrant County, Global Care, and Young Adults at Risk.

We are an intergenerational group open to individuals of all races, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities and theological identities.  Our hearts, minds, and doors are always open as we strive to be a community of spiritual growth that reflects compassion towards all God’s children, engaging in prophetic and pastoral outreach to church and society. We invite all people to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.
