Heather Hanson has been serving as the Finance Director at First United Methodist Church of Arlington since March 2024. With over 36 years of experience in administrative and financial roles across both small and large businesses, she brings a strong professional background and a heart for service. Heather holds a degree in Christian Studies from Dallas Baptist University and has long been passionate about learning and growing in her faith. She is married to her husband, Kevin, and they have four children: Trey, Sarah, Mason, and Mattingly.

In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She deeply values First UMC Arlington's outreach to the unhoused and special needs communities and is honored to be part of a church making a meaningful impact in the city.
