Monday Mat Makers

This group meets weekly to prepare 'plarn,' yarn made from recycled plastic bags. It's used to weave sleeping mats for our unsheltered neighbors. There are no special skills required, just show up, craft, and enjoy fellowship with friends!
Depression Connection for Recovery
6-8 PM | Room 100
Sometimes, finding our way through mental health struggles is a challenge, and that's why we offer a group to help. Depression Connection for Recovery is a peer-led support group that explores skills and tools needed to help those who want to improve their health and wellness. Men's Bible Study
7-8 AM | Room 154
Start your Wednesday with coffee, connection, and God's Word. This group meets weekly to read and discuss different chapters of the Bible; there's no pressure, just honest conversation and time in Scripture. We gather at 7 am in Room 154, and new participants are always welcome. Coffee's on us - just bring your Bible and come as you are!
Stretch Yoga
9-9:45 AM | Room 100
Take a midweek pause to breathe, stretch, and reset. This gentle yoga class meets on Thursdays at 9 am in Room 100 and is open to all experience levels. Whether new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you'll find space to move with intention and care.
Please note: Stretch Yoga will take a summer break during the month of July and will resume in the fall.
Tai Chi
9-10 AM | Hagler Hall
Tai Chi is a slow-moving martial art that helps with balance, stability, mindfulness, and includes various flexibility and breathing exercises. This class is open to everyone. Contact the church office for more information.

United Women in Faith
Daytime Group: Taking a break for the summer
Evening Group: 1st Mondays | 7-8 PM | Room 154
United Women in Faith is a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Through book studies, guest speakers, and information on areas of mission and service around Arlington, we learn where and how we can make an impact in our community. Each meeting, members bring donations to local charities that support women. All women are invited to join us in room 154!
Caregiver Support Group
4th Tuesdays | 1-2 PM | Room 102
Join other caregivers in a safe place to discuss challenges, joys, and best practices for caring for family members and yourself, while finding comfort in God's promise to walk beside us. All are welcome. Sharla Martin facilitates this group.
Cloud Covered Streets
1st, 3rd, & 5th Wednesdays | 8:30-11 AM | 407 N. Mesquite
Cloud Covered Streets (CCS) offers showers, haircuts, laundry services, a meal, and more to those experiencing homelessness. We've partnered with Cloud Covered Streets since 2023 as part of our strategic initiative to connect with existing entities and provide intentional, coordinated support to unsheltered people. Advocates for Social Justice (ASJ) Meeting

Advocates for Social Justice is a faith-based group dedicated to inspiring action for God's love, justice, peace, and reconciliation. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn more about their work, like their educational forums, which you can watch and learn more about using the button below. Advocates for Social Justice is an intergenerational group that aims to create a welcoming space for spiritual growth and compassionate outreach.
